Job Title: Business System Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to work on-site at our Grand Rapids, MI. location with a customer service attitude and a positive personality.

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following credentials
Primary responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities:
- Responsible for a mix of various projects within the Information Technology team
- Provide level 1 support of our internal I.T. customers on Business Applications such as QAD, DocLib Document Management, Labeling, Quality system, etc.
- Aid in the support and management of our home-grown shop floor software along with data analysis reporting
- Support new part setups within home-grown production systems related to new routing changes for maintaining data trigger points
- Monitor of customer portals as needed
- Management and support of Software used for Layered Process and Safety audits
- Engage with business leaders to intentionally improve business processes
- Continued research and testing of applications for improved business opportunities
- Consult with 3rd party support vendors on system modifications and support
- Support data inquires within our ERP system
- Assist in the support and maintenance of barcode scanners
- Provide support of numerous MS Access databases
- Provide analytical & reporting support to various departments
- Extracting & analyzing data to support business decision-making
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/related discipline preferred, or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years in a Business Systems Analyst
- Automotive industry environment experience a plus
- Project Management experience
- Understanding of EDI
- Proficient in use Office 365
- Passion and discipline to develop and follow well defined procedures
- A proactive learner with desire to develop technical skills and critical business understanding
- Data driven approach to problem solving and decision making
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communicator who can understand and deliver information in a clear, open, honest and accurate method in both an oral and written manner
- Dedicated to teamwork and putting the value of team success before individual interest
- Previous experience with QAD and addons preferred
