As a Clinical Social Worker at Pine Rest, you will provide compassionate, patient-centered behavioral health care while coordinating individualized treatment plans for patients and families.
You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess patient needs, provide therapy services, coordinate discharge planning, and connect patients with community resources to support long-term healing and recovery.
Conduct psychosocial assessments and evaluate patient treatment needs
Provide individual, group, and family therapy
Assess co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
Implement and coordinate individualized plans of care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams
Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care
Communicate with families, referral sources, insurance providers, and community agencies
Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers
Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families
Assist with crisis intervention, de-escalation, and patient engagement
Monitor patient progress and report safety concerns as needed
Support patients’ emotional, social, mental, and physical well-being

Maintain professionalism in communication, time management, and teamwork
Foster a diverse, inclusive, and empowering environment for patients and staff
Master’s degree in Social Work required
Current Michigan LLMSW or LMSW licensure required
Preferred: One year of mental health experience
Ability to independently assess patient needs and implement treatment plans
For candidates interested in substance use disorder programs:
Master’s degree in behavioral health sciences required
Two years of post-graduate experience in substance use disorder treatment required
Additional post-graduate mental health experience preferred
