Ridgeview Industries is a leading metal stamping, welding and assembly manufacturing company primarily serving the automotive market. Our privately held company, founded upon Christian principles, currently employs approximately 600 team members across 4 plant locations.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Directly manage team of Production Planners and Shipping Supervisor
  • Cultivate positive customer, supplier and employee relationships through proactive communication, timely response to concerns and follow through on requested information
  • Provide direction and coordinate the activity of our Production Planning team to produce an accurate and timely schedule for our manufacturing plants using our ERP (QAD) system
  • Champion a culture of operational excellence and teamwork
  • Demonstrate and coach a supervisory philosophy that balances the need for results and process accountably, along with sincere appreciation and respect for all members of the team
  • Identify, propose and facilitate activities to drive intentional, incremental and sustainable improvements
  • Assist in year-end inventory, monitor inventory accuracy and facilitate adjustments as needed
  • Oversee shipping and receiving functions related to purchased parts and order fulfillment
  • Support quality initiatives and corrective action processes as required

 

Qualifications:

  • Passion and discipline to develop and follow well defined procedures
  • Demonstrated track record of holding teams accountable and achieving results
  • Ability to influence and facilitate teams regardless of reporting structure
  • Data driven approach to problem solving and decision making
  • Excellent communicator who can understand and deliver information in a clear, open, honest and accurate method
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically
  • Exhibits servant leadership characteristics and is dedicated to teamwork and putting the value of team success before individual interest
  • Ability to see, assess and react to changes in customer requirements
  • Capacity and desire to become the expert in understanding the planning parameters of our ERP(QAD) system
  • Previous experience in automotive manufacturing and a production planning leadership position along with experience in QAD is desired
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or previous experience
