Position Overview
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our team. This part-time role is ideal for someone with a solid motorsport background or experience and who enjoys working independently in both a shop and at the track. You'll handle electrical and mechanical components and parts specifically for performance vehicles, and ideally bring some familiarity with wiring harnesses, electronics, and calibrations.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with the installation, testing, and repair of electrical systems (wiring harnesses, sensors, data systems, power distribution).
  • Assist in car preparation for race events through electrical checks, system calibrations, and data downloads.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports: test plans, schematics, wiring diagrams, and design notes.
  • Contribute to project coordination by developing and managing bill of materials, parts orders, and project deadlines.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and help manage inventory of connectors, harness materials, sensors, and calibration tools.
  • Support the development and validation of prototypes through custom design work and CAD software.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 1-3 years of experience.
  • Confidence working independently and within a small team.
  • Ability to use and understand CAD software (such as RapidHarness).
  • Ability to design and create wiring harnesses and electrical components for cars.
  • Confidence working with and knowledge of vehicle internal combustion system.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, time-sensitive motorsport environments.
  • Ability to create brake, oil and cooling lines with flare or AN fittings.
  • Valid driver’s license

Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Valued)

  • Experience with mil-spec or autosport connectors.
  • Familiarity with ECU calibration (ECUmaster, Motec, etc.) and basic tuning.
  • Understanding of CAN bus, sensors, and data acquisition systems.
  • MIG/TIG welding (steel and aluminum).
  • Composite repair and fitting (carbon fiber, fiberglass) is a plus.

Position Details

  • Part-Time: 3 days/week, Tuesday - Thursday onsite only, not availability for remote.

Compensation

  • $25–$35/hour, compensation will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
