SUMMARY: The Materials Coordinator is responsible for processing MRP reports and creating purchase orders to ensure materials and supplies are available to meet production schedules. This role focuses on accurate PO placement, order tracking, and coordinating with suppliers to confirm details and secure on-time delivery. Working within established guidelines such as minimum order quantities and safety stock levels, the Materials Coordinator helps maintain efficient inventory flow by collaborating with production, engineering, and materials management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
