About this role:

At this pivotal time in the firm's growth, we are seeking a sharp and seasoned Senior Accountant to provide full-service monthly accounting services for up to 30 client accounts. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, communicative, and analytical accountant who enjoys supporting a variety of clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, taxes, and other ad hoc accounting services. You're familiar with general accounting best practices and will use your knowledge and experience to ensure client satisfaction through excellent service delivery. In this role you will report to the Manager of the Accounting department. You'll get a chance to:

  • Use your bachelor's degree in accounting and full accounting cycle experience to support business services clients with double entry accounting, general ledgers, bank reconciliations, month & year end duties, financial statement preparation, and financial reporting for multiple entities simultaneously
  • Bring a robust skillset with a variety of technologies such as QuickBooks online, Excel, our CRM, and preferably Power BI to input, manage, and analyze data
  • Be a proactive thinker, strong communicator, and engaged team member to ensure clients and management are informed, equipped, and prepared for any needs
  • Take pride in your work, have a desire to continuously learn and grow, and be comfortable mentoring other accountants on industry best practices and efficiency while contributing to our positive team culture
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and other firm leadership to identify and champion improvements to policies, processes, and workflows
