Schedule: Part-time (20 hours/week on average), flexible with occasional evenings/weekends

Location: Hybrid – Regular in-person meetings at 1311 Chicago Dr SW, Wyoming, MI, plus remote work and occasional travel

About the Role

UCOM is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Campaign Project Manager to coordinate and execute the fundraising and engagement components of this capital campaign. This role is central to keeping the campaign on track, supporting volunteer leaders, and ensuring communications and donor engagement efforts are effective and timely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day campaign activities and timelines
  • Support campaign leadership (Executive Director, board members, volunteers)
  • Schedule and prepare materials for meetings with the cabinet, staff, and consultants
  • Track donor prospect activity and assist with solicitation support and follow-up
  • Manage campaign communications, including email updates, social media, and donor acknowledgements
  • Oversee the development and distribution of campaign materials (brochures, pledge cards, event invitations, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate campaign records in donor database (gifts, pledges, reports)
  • Collaborate with development and finance staff on gift entry and acknowledgement processes
  • Coordinate cultivation events and donor tours
  • Liaise with external vendors and consultants as needed

 

 

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in nonprofit fundraising required; capital campaign experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with high-level donors and volunteers with discretion and professionalism
  • Tech-savvy and organized: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, virtual meeting platforms, and donor databases (e.g., Bloomerang, Little Green Light, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm for UCOM’s mission and a passion for community impact
