Human Services Coordinator 

SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Human Services Coordinator for its client in Traverse City, MI. The individual will advocate for individuals and families in need across the Greater Grand Traverse Region. Working within the community’s support network, they identify and connect people with essential resources, guiding them toward stability, self-sufficiency, and well-being.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Uphold the mission, vision, and policies of the organization.
• Maintain professionalism, respect diversity, and ensure confidentiality in all interactions.
• Provide outreach and engagement services, assessing and addressing client needs.
• Connect individuals with crisis support, resources, and long-term stability solutions.
• Navigate and implement support service systems, including Coordinated Entry and assistance programs.
• Develop individualized stability and financial plans with clients.
• Maintain accurate client records, ensuring data quality standards.
• Drive company vehicles for client transportation, outreach, and operational needs while adhering to safety policies.
• Continuously improve program practices and contribute to grant writing and reporting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.           

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or other Human Services field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licensed Social Worker preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certified.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; must be insurable and obtain a Chauffeur’s license within 30 days if not already held.
• Two years of experience in case management, support services, or working with individuals facing instability is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Experience working with vulnerable or marginalized populations preferred.
