Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Program Manager, Vertical Markets to join our team in Holland, MI. 

As a Program Manager, Vertical Markets, you will:​

Lead the planning and execution of moderately complex projects, managing resources, budgets, and risks to ensure on-time completion within scope and budget. Utilize project management expertise to solve challenges, mentor junior team members, and drive project success. As a vital member of the Verticals and Market Segments team, this role influences, develops, and provides ongoing support to marketing, go-to-market, and ongoing business development efforts for defined vertical markets. In collaboration with targeted stakeholders across the business, this role is to 'connect the dots' for both our sales and dealer members that help define the strategy and differentiators for our key audiences, to drive sales performance and growth for vertical markets.

Essential Functions

  • Business / Market Development - Develops and implements business/market development plans for defined vertical segments, including planning and execution of related strategies and programs, to meet growth targets. 
  • Sales Enablement - Lead cohesive sales and marketing plans, in partnership with Sales and Marketing, for the vertical market, driving the POV, segmentation, and account and portfolio strategies.
  • Schedule, manage, and facilitate Community of Practice Calls for assigned markets.
  • Provide, curate content for monthly DASH and Dealer Connect calls.
  • Seeks to develop, expand client and dealer success stories.
  • Market Intelligence - Facilitate market and customer research to inform go-to-market plans and investments.
  • Ability to ask the right questions and be able to navigate the organization to find the right answers.
  • Marketing Communications and Marketing Outreach - Establishes Marketing Communication strategy and requirements, in collaboration with Marketing Communications, including catalogs, prices list, brochures, advertising, and promotion, for successful product marketing. Coordinates implementation and monitors expenditures.
  • Competitive Lens - Analyzes competitive landscape to ensure Haworth is properly positioned in the market.
  • Field Relationship Development - Maintains appropriate field sales, dealer, design, and customer relationships to be continually abreast of market needs and trends.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in relevant field of study
  • 2 years experience with Marketing, Sales, and/or Business Development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Haworth Experience.
  • Experience in Vertical Markets.
  • Furniture Industry Experience.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite.
