Who You Are:
We are looking for a Communications Writer who is energized by a fast-paced agency environment and complex, thought-provoking work. The role offers a blend of high-level strategic thinking and assignments that vary in scale from brand development and thought leadership to key messaging, articles, marketing copy, video scripts and more. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of relevant experience, is a self-starter, an avid learner, excellent writer and communicator, and is keen on research, accuracy, fact-finding and ferreting out the source of truth. Previous experience working with leadership and organizational change communications is a plus.
To support this multifaceted work, the ideal candidate will:
- Be curious. Ask questions to get to the heart of the client's business goals or specific challenges by connecting strategy, people, operations, marketing, and communications. Understand the client's business.
- Be proactive and organized. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create insightful and engaging work. Support project managers and interact with clients from multiple industries. Quickly outline ideas and get buy-in before moving forward.
- Tackle complexity. Strong writer, communicator and consultant. Ability to synthesize ideas, inputs, data, and research to inform your writing. Expert level proofing and editing, familiar with multiple style guides.
- Make ideas come to life. Collaborate with internal creatives, strategists, doers, and thinkers to deliver narratives, compelling copy, and actionable content. Present and pitch your concepts. Support a range of projects that vary in scale from brand development and campaigns to tactical implementation.
- Pivot. Draw insights and make decisions based on past experience, qualitative and quantitative findings. Incorporate input and feedback from key stakeholders into your work. Know when to pull in other team members as subject matter experts.
