Customer Service Representative

Job description:

A day as a Customer Service Representative in our office would contain both customer and
clerical duties. Here are some examples of the actual work your day would include.
Customer care work(75% of time)
greeting customers who enter the store
answering phones
entering customer orders into our database
creating work orders for Route Sales Representatives
creating work orders for Service Technicians
gathering information from potential customers for Water Specialist
performing basic water tests
advising customers on what type of filter they need
coordinating donation requests for community events
loading customers cars with salt, water, coffee (depending on store location)

Clerical Work (20% of time)
stuffing invoices for USPS mail
preparing Fedex orders for filters or coffee
Opening and sorting daily incoming mail
tallying punch cards each month
maintaining Service calendar
maintaining Community events calendar
Light Housekeeping (5% of the time)
daily vacuuming of entry mats by doors
cleaning of glass entry doors
dusting/sanitizing front desk area
restocking shelves
making coffee for customers and employees
Job requirements
To be successful in this role, you need to have a certain amount of knowledge:
•High school graduate or equivalent certificate required
•Computer skills basic keyboarding, excel spreadsheets, word documents
•computation/math skills
In terms of experience, we prefer that you have one or two years of Customer Service of some
type.
Critical to do this work is how you go about it. We need Customer Service Representatives with
strong communication skills.You need to be able to empathize with a customer and remain firm
enough that you promise more than you can deliver. You will be interacting with multiple teams
every day. You touch every department. If is critical that you enjoy working with and for others.
